My goal is to maybe go down to 240..... but no less.  Want to retain the weight with lifting.  Its good to be the size of a linebacker

Hey Thunder, you wanna fight???

I mean, it's not like I know you could probably knock me flat on my back with one swing.

You won't annihilate me that much. Just a couple of times, maybe a little pain on the side.

Here, have a look at this. My doctor used it once when I told him I was underweight. He laughed (not in an unpleasant way) and showed me the Body Mass Index. I'm sure you've seen it before.

I've posted a link from the British National Health Service, so you can be sure that it's accurate.

Having provided this link, let me say that you shouldn't base any major lifestyle change purely on what this chart says:

sk8bloke87,

I am about 5'8 and my weight varies from 113 - 115 pounds.

Kiddo, that is not fat.... if anything "we" are too skinny.... and it scares me to think that you think that you are fat and need to lose weight.

During a stressfull time, not too long ago, I got down to 102 pounds and the doctors put me into the hospital.

Right now I am still trying to gain. My goal is 120 -125 pounds.....

You should really talk to your doctor or school nurse or something..... I think you are goign through what alot of teens do and you can really hurt yourself :(

You are dead right, Cathie, best thing ever to do is be yourself!

No matter what, be your self!

I weigh 10stone 6 (about 145 pounds I think) and I'm 5'11" tall. My BMI thing is 20.36, which apparently is just about right. I though I was slightly overweight too, I don't eat overly healthily and I don't exercise much. Maybe about 80 press ups a day max, that's it. And and a bit of walking, say 1 mile a day?

I'll go weigh myself, can I use your calculator. :rofl3:

In normal, simple to understand terms, I am 5' 8" tall and weigh 148 pounds.

That is about perfect weight for my height, and considering my age it is fantastic. It is just about what sk8 should weigh.

I'm 5'8" and 150 lbs. About average I'd say.

Torrey though...there are some serious problems with you if you think you're really fat, I'm hoping you're joking.
