Guest arachides
About 4 to 5 times a week while I am on the web my image starts to break up. It slowly becomes fuzzy and the mouse leaves tracks. After a few minutes the video display is unreadable. A reboot solves this problem. - I have updated my ATI Radeon 7000 drivers. - This only happens when I'm browsing. All other times I can spend hours on the computer with no problems. What gives? Can anyone help? :help: :help:
mohawkwarrior
you have the vidcard overclocked? if you do bring it down some and try it. and one more thing make sure the fan is running all the time it could be overheating. Guest arachides
Mohawkwarrior: I'm using RAGE 3D TWEAK but have it on default. Could the tweak program itself be acting up? The fan is working properly and my room is cool. Any other suggestions? :help:
dave
Sure sounds like a video driver problem to me. Each app uses different patterns of calls to the video driver, so it's possible the driver bug only occurs with IE's use. You could turn down/off video acceleration to see if the problem goes away, that would help verify it was a driver issue.
Guest arachides
To mohawkwarrior and dave: Thanks! I defaulted and reset the video card tweak and lowered the video acceleration. So far everything is working fine. Thanks guys. Much appreciated!
