One of you gurus mind checking this out, with my FSB stock it's showing my 3.6 @3.8, but my score is lower than my 3.4 system.

http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress.asp?id=6DCP9WTJJGRS98H7

This is my new machine:

P5AD2-E

3.6 CPU 800 FSB

6600 PCI

I did go with the Antec 160P case, real quiet.

I used one of my 36 raptors for HD for now, but will raid 0 or 5 all 4 of them later.

I still need the other machine untill I get this one perfected.

Anyone wanna make an offer on my EVGA 6800 ultra agp?

well, whoever you are getting it from doesn't care certainly (about security), as they didn't care to put a key on the router in order to access it.

usually they are a combination of 26 random letters and numbers (or 30, or something else). I have ours, and even with it I can't access it sometimes.

look to see if they have anything shared :P

flew, with wireless it detects ALL networks, not just the one you put in.

Most aren't password protected so you can just log right in, which is what some naughty people do when they roam around neighborhoods with a laptop and a wireless network card.

I saw our neighbors (or maybe it was my uncle's lol) connection on mine, i can't remember the name or anything but it needed a key, he knows a lot about computers so i know he'd put one.

Hey, Pit Cops,

Would this Pit score be acceptable?

Default CPU settings on my MB.

http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress.asp?id=CUQ09W687GRSKUT7

My FSB is 200

my CPU is 3.6

and reads as 3.8

Ron give me a pm with some details of your setup, also if you have any other benchmarks run I would like to see them.

A little late but I believe we should remove the video points from the pit test for this competition. There are many many ways to cheat and almost no way to monitor them.

Video caps won't work on this one raymo. As we have a extensive testing suite, I do believe that the video points are not necessary.

Adam... At this point we all pretty much know what a certain card is gonna score at the required res used for the challenge.

we know a 6800 is gonna score between 270 and 340 depending on what tweaks and OC'ing has been done... Now at a higher res and lower bit depth... WOW!!!

Now that would be hard to monitor ;)

Maybe we can just do a pittest on the next one with no limits and a Video Cap :shifty:

Copyron... No multi change is allowed for stock.. if 1 person does it then everyone with an AMD will do the same.... (13x sounds good to me)JK!!!:P

BTW... how did you get that :shifty::shifty::shifty:

of coarse Gen clock will do the same :P

Gentlemen/Ladies,

I need to bend your ears for a minute about a few things I have noticed in some posts. I have been very busy this holiday season but I have tried to catch up on posts when I have time, I grab a coffee, and read as many as I can before heading off to work. In the last few days, I have noticed far too much negative posts by a wide variaty of members. This troubles me since this part of the forum had become a very good place to visit, if you needed advice, latest news or just some encouragement. It was always easy to find.

I think we need to remember this every time we decide to post a message in someone's thread, lets try hard to keep every post friendly, if you are about to post a negative, stop and just don't bother posting. I doesn't do anyone any good and it changes the over-all feeling of this part of the pit. We have always competed with encouragement and I would like to see that return.

Thanks for listening.
