Vranichou Posted October 16, 2004 Share Posted October 16, 2004 If I remember right the 386 was the first 32 bit chip that I used (only wierdos used Macs...) because instead of 2 (I think they were 30 pin) ram chips on the 286 (at 45.00 a meg!) you needed 4 on the 386 boards, Also, Intel came out with the Pentium Pro about the same time that Novell introduced Netware 4.01 MPU. I'm not sure, but I think the Pro was a 64 bit chip. Long time ago. around '90 for the 386 and '96 for the PP. My memory ain't so good any more. -=Vran=- Link to post Share on other sites
