Guest callmefriend
I was wondering how I could switch from USB cable connection to networking card connection. I have tried in the past to switch in the past but to no avail. http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress.asp?i...ALXWWF6L60SBLBB My cable modem is the old Toshiba PCX-2000. Thanks. aeroman10
I have a similar modem to yours. Its very easy to switch Install a NIC card in the pc if you dont have one. Plug the cable line into the modem. Get a ethernet (RJ-45) cable. Plug one end into the modem and the other end into your NIC card. That should be it. If you have any problems, post back. Guest tAzEr
Is USB faster for DSL or should i stick with the ethernet card??
chengrob
Yes USB is slower and does work as consistently well as a PCI card. Once you get it setup, it will work much much more reliably and faster.
