hI,

 

Any body know if RegSeeker is compatable with Windows 98se?

for 98se try the MS reg clean 4.1a (you'll have to run it multiple times to get everything). It gives backups & is as safe, as a reg cleaner can get. Its not as through as some of the others but...

I use HDCleaner, the one that comes with that. First time I ran it, I got a lot...I think over 500, so it does the job for me :woot:

I use it as well as another. Have to be very careful with registry as it can mess up your system very easily. RegCleaner is one of the easiest to use & as long as you are careful, it will do the job.

i use registry first aid freeware version. it only takes care of a dozen or so items at once, so if your system is clogged with registry errors it will take a while to clean them up. the program stores backups just in case, never had a problem with it, works grat with my xp system and my kids 98se. been using it for a couple of years. good luck....................
