Guest wrecker0010
just wondering if there is a way to change the receive buffer size on a router. i have a 3meg download from my cable company that usually doesn't drop below 3.5meg until i put my router in. i have noticed that with either my linksys 4 port wired router or my belkin 4 port plus wireless, my downloads average 2.5 meg instead of the blazing 3.5 meg average when i run straight from the modem to the puter. any thoughts? :help:
Matthewdwatson
Wrecker, I have the same problem. In my household we have one hub and two wireless cards on the other to comp's. I think it is just part of the wireless signal power. I'm sure in the future they will create wireless cards capable of more. 2.5 is still pretty decent though isn't it? mw
