Guest pootertink
hi all, my internet connection will not auto disconnect when we close out of internet explorer 6. the box is checked in internet options for it to disconnect automatically, but it still will not do it, we must do it manually...i have tried checking/unchecking/apply/ok in the internet options box several times, but to no avail...any suggestions? thanks, pootertink
aeroman10
I never even knew there was an option in IE that will automatically disconnect you when you close the web browser. You might be mistaken. The option which says 'Disconnect when the connection is no longer needed' makes your browser pop up a prompt which will ask you if you want to disconnect or stay online when you close the web browser window ... but it doesnt just automatically disconnect.... And the option to disconnect if idle for X minutes is not what you are referring to I think.
