Program I Made (sysinfo)

Recommended Posts

Really?!

Anybody else have this problem?

It shows them all on my computer.

It's supposed open with all 4 of them open.

The program is really buggy right now. Sorry.

I'll try get an update up later today if I don't get home too late again.

Sorry all4sma, I don't care for this one, it won't show several measurements at once and when docked it made a mess of my desktop position so I had to reboot to get it back to norm. Keep worken at it, I like the concept. :)

Cheers!

Yeah youre right, the docking feature is seriously screwed up...

But to get my screen back to normal I just changed the resolution to something else...and then went back to what it was set on...now the screen is ok.

The interface for 2.1 is horrible compared to 2.0

The interface in 2.0 looks nice and neat and this new release looks very sloppy and unorganized ;)

Can you go back to the old one and improve on that?

When I try to minimize it, then open it the inner windows are stacked on top of each other. Also a little big. Keep working on it. It is something I would use.

I think I will go back to the previous interface. Something to the sort, anyway.

I was going to do a multiple document interface, so people could arrange them however, they wanted, and what not. I was @ school today and thinking about it (when I shouldn't be) and decided to go with a regular form, and go about it a different way.

They format they were in in beta 2.1 was not complete... Itwould be a little different, but I think I'm gonna go back anyway...

IO'll keep you all updated.

More suggestions are always welcome.

EDIT: One more thing... anybody know of a name I should call the program, or should I just keep it as SysInfo as I have been calling it?

Program Updated!!!!

As far as I know, everything on it right now works.

Check it out, and enjoy.

Now I'll start working on new features such as temperature monitors and things.

EDIT: The program still doesn't work in Windows 98... I think just 2000/XP/2003

Bug: When you undock the form doesnt return to its original size...its becomes very small and you cant resize it...

Suggestion: Make the form resizable. Add a Private Sub Form_Resize and write a formula for all objects on the form to resize with respect to the form when the window is resized...

:)

Thanks.

I noticed the bug earlier today, but I didn't get a chance to update it and repost the beta, so I just left it as-is.

I fixed the bug. It works now. I will upload the new update shortly.

Any other suggestions?

Does the new format/layout look better than beta 2.1 was?

All4sma, all looks good except: Screen Shot

When docked to the right on my screen, i lose 1/4 of the ap.

Still takes up a little too much of the screen

Other than that, it looks great and I look forward to the one with the temps included.

one question..why put a clock in your program when theres one in everybody's taskbar?

The dock is so information can be viewable at all times. Rather than minimizing it the the task bar.

Thanks Xtreme. I'll fix that. There's really not too much I can do about it taking up the screen, though. That I can think of anyway. Any Ideas?

Haha... Whoops. My mistake.

Sorry. :P

---------------------------------------------

Anyway, since the program was reguarfing a clock, and not dock...

U put the clock there, because more will be added to it. I will be kinda different later.

I like to turn the clock off on my task bar, when I have thep rogram running for a little more space down there.

that's odd... I think usually that's included with XP/2000... etc...

Anyway... here's a link to download it.
