Can a MONITOR stop my desk top from loading

I have a 2 month old desktop and a monitor that is 6 months old. In the past week the desktop(DT) stop loading and was told automatic repair of win 11 could not fix the problem. I happen to have my old monitor and changed it. The DT started to load. I then changed the cord from the new monitor to one that was HDMI both ends and the DT worked, But then later in the week the DT stop loading again. Have been running with old monitor and DT seems not to have any problems. The new monitor was a 27 in (having trouble with eyes) and old one is 21 in. So the question is can the monitor cause the DT not to load or could there be a problem with the DT?  I have two weeks left to bring back desktop if defective. Other wise I have to pay shipping and delete my info.

Is the DT still loading on the new monitor but just not displaying?

Try booting in 'Safe Mode' and see what happens - Could be a driver issue.

I was working with a tech and all drivers and up dates were done and the DT still will not load. Took monitor back to Costco and buying a different brand.
