Daytona John
I am a software developer (Python, Java, C++), and I am considering switching my computer security software to PCMatic. I have used others in the past (Norton, Webroot, Mcafee) with no problem, but they do not use the "whitelist" approach. I understand that I can add my own software to the whitelist, but does PCMatic recognize that my app under development has changed each time that I tweak my code and then test it? Will PCMatic interrupt my code/test cycle each cycle? Is there some way to mark a folder to tell PCMatic not to protect me from code in that folder?
Tx Redneck
Hola @Daytona John and Thanks for your interest in our software! To answer your question, yes, you can whitelist the output folder you'll be running your test code from. The ability to do this isn't within the UI of PC Matic, but can be found by going to http://portal.pcmatic.com/ and logging in with the email address and password you used to sign into PC Matic. If you have any further questions, concerns or need product support, the fastest way to get that done is by going to https://www.pcmatic.com/support/ Our Support Team is available 7 days a week and should things not workout, you're entitled to a 100% refund within 30 days, no questions asked.
