Driver Booster 7

Recommended Posts

H Tex , or anyone else for that matter , Have you ever ran Driver Booster 7 to update Drivers , so far ran in win 7 home an win 10 home , no problems , my Motherboards are oldish GA-EP35-DS3P on both Towers , and i have a brand new an a 2nd hand one spare , so if a board fails i just swap with exact board , with no loss of OS ok . It does the Updates ok , then asks for around 25.00 to do the last few which i can use on 3 pc's  , just wondered if it's worth paying the extra , any ideas ... Regards Philip Bribie Island Qld ...

Hola @Beagle 1 how are you doin?

I haven't ever used it, but the oldest machine we have is a laptop with a Core i3-4030u on WIn10 and between Lenovo and M$, it stays up to date w/out 3rd party software.

Tx 🤠

HI @Beagle 1 never used Driver booster but my experience with these tools are that they really add no benefit; MS update keeps your generic drivers up to date and these are normally good enough on an old machine. These driver update programes seem to leave broken registry entries everywhere which they then sell you some other piece of software to "speed up your pc" by fixing registry errors.

Hi Tx / Nigsy   Main reason i ran driver booster i had a Blue Screen twice with  driver not less than equal or such , i couldn't find out which driver was the problem , i've since deleted the driver 7 program  an so far all good , sounds like i've been lucky running the program . Regards Philip ..
