cmstppr, how are you sir?!
You regularly cross my mind sir. I do believe our folders have either passed or moved on to other things. We're blessed to see you post here again man.
How are you doin these days?
Stopped folding when my client got stuck and no matter what I did - (Including a complete re-install of openSUSE) seemed to work.
This has prompted me to have another look.
And we are back up and running!!
You tell us CM...............think often about you and as Tx said blessed you checked in. As for me I'm just doing my thing.
I have thought about this for a very long time. I was great fun to produce numbers for our team. When my wife had to enter full time skilled nursing care for early onset Alzheimer"s I stopped folding because of the cost to fold and the cost of paying for her care. 100k per year over a period of 3 years. Then she died. Honestly I thought folding for Stanford would actually solve some of the incurable diseases , but I see that it hasn't done a damn thing except cost millions of dollars in computer time all at no cost to them and their grad students.
Firstly, sorry for your loss Mr. B, and secondly, I don't completely disagree with your assertion.
Looks like dickster got a new "toy".....point production up for a bit now. I'd like to upgrade but a bit cost prohibitive now.....maybe I'll find a decent Black Friday deal this year.
Picked up an EVGA b-stock GTX 970 that seems to be doing pretty good. Nice to see all these old names still posting.
