I have a Lenovo ideacentre A-730 all in one desktop. powers on (hear fans - all that good stuff) but you cannot see anything on the screen except for a timer bottle - at times. The lights will light up on the buttons ( located on the screen - lower right corner). worked on night then wouldn't turn on the next day. Any suggestions? nigsy Posted March 21, 2019 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Does it POST? (BIOS Screen) Are you able to start it in Safe mode? Sounds like a Hard drive failure; are you able to run a diagnostic tool on the hard drive? You might also want to download a USB bootable Linux live CD and see if that works - If it does it will rule out any hardware failures and point to the hard drive itself having failed.
