Windows 10 update not recognized by Optimize 3.0

Recommended Posts

I have a Samsung Series 7 Chronos Intel CORE i7 that is running particularly slow. I've run PC Pitstop Optimize 3.0 numerous times, but it doesn't seem to produce any improvement in performance. I just noticed in the Optimize Browse tab that my computer's operating system is listed as "Windows 8 x64", when in fact the OS is "Windows 10 x64". The OS was originally Windows 8 when I first installed Optimize 3.0, but was upgraded to Windows 10 some time ago.  I'm wondering how to get Optimize to recognize the current correct OS, and if this is related to why Optimize doesn't produce the performance results that it once did?  Thanks, PHardin.
