Manual Whitelist

Recommended Posts

How is the MD5 number generated on the Supershield Allow section of Manage Whitelist?  I was attempting to add a whitelist for a customer to their company and pasted the executable in.  I thought maybe the MD5 number would auto generate once added but it made it all 0's.  Will the MD5 being all 0's allow the whitelist to work properly?  If not, how do you find the MD5 needed for the whitelist?

Hi Richard,

As an MSP, the quickest way is through your portal in the Super Shield report.

If the application was white listed at the computer level with Super Shield being in Advanced Mode, then the application and MD5 would be added automatically when "Always Allow" was chosen.

An application with a '0's as an MD5 entry will not be recognized.

The following White Listing documentation is available in your portal under the "Support" link at the top right.

Please let us know if you need a hand with any of this.

:) Y
