dimwit
It is amazing/amusing how people differ over what progress means. https://www.linux.com/blog/flurry-open-source-graphics-milestones Where at the same time Linus Torvalds is apoplectic over TinyDRM for Linux 4.11 code quality. " Because I am _never_ going to accept this kind of crap in the future." (No links due to this being the family friendly quote.) It is wonderful to have new and improved kernels, but what I would really like to see are trouble-free and full use of graphics cards or platforms for linux. I want the manufacturers to deliver their product to the open source community in a working state that gives the buyer full value for their dollars spent. I really don't feel like that is asking too much.
