dimwit Report post Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) I was going to use a different link but chose this due to language in comments at other sites. https://www.engadget.com/2016/11/11/spotify-desktop-app-data/ from ars TECHNICA "This is a *major* bug that currently affects thousands of users," Spotify user Paul Miller told Ars. "If for example, Castrol Oil lowered your engine's life expectancy by five to 10 years, I imagine most users would want to know, and that fact *should* be reported on." I always thought Spotify was a horrible experience on android, and the linux client had some frustrating behaviors but this! http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2016/11/spotify-testing-new-layout-desktop-player This seems like an interesting coincidence. We are always trying out new things on the unsuspecting user. Sometimes Spotify is testing features on a small group of users to compare the experience with those not on the test. As you have seen, you might see something that your friend doesn’t, or have access to something brand new for only a temporary period. You can read more about it here. OMG! is right. nigsy Report post Posted November 13, 2016 Never use the client for Linux. Only the web browser and the SONOS app on my phone. Interesting find though.
