Unable to use comprehensive Scan: Win 10

Recommended Posts

I've used PCPitstop Comprehensive scan for nearly 15 years. After upgrading to Windows 10 last summer, I am unable to use it. I get all types of messages from saying Java isn't running (it is) to a 2005 caution about using Opera! Geezus 2005? The latest says that I'm not using IE. Whatever internet explorer is on Windows 10, I am using. I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security which hasn't been a problem in the previous 5 years that I've used it. If I have to do jump through hoops to use the scan, it's not worth it anymore. I'll watch for answers, but frankly, I've given up on the PCPitstop scans.

Nigsy pretty much has it except that you would look for iexplore.exe in the Program Files (x86) folder for 64 bit systems.

However, you can get there in Edge by 1) going to the OverDrive web page 2) clicking on the three dots in the upper right and 3) selecting Open with Internet Explorer. You can click on the image to open it full size.
