Free Video Joiner From CNET

Recommended Posts

Tried the above as a replacement for one i used to use years ago.

Not much call for joiners nowadays as far as i'm aware.

D/l'd it, as usual used custom install, unchecked the rubbish i didn't want.

Then i'm informed that there is an update to the prog. I was busy with other things

so i let it update thinking that i'd have to go throught the whole installing rigmarole again.

Not so. I was infected and all browsers were hijacked.

After cleaning my machine i found an extra prog GoUp where the prog was installed,

I removed it and the joiner now works without prompting me to d/l the new update

Thing is.....i used to trust CNET.

Imp. :)

Why?

CNET is about making money, nothing more nothing less, and when push comes to shove in todays world of making a quick buck, there are no morals.

cnet.com i use on my mobile to follow tech news/updates.

download.cnet.com is where you are sent to when you are d/l'ing programmes such as Avast.

Go to the avast website and try to install the free 2015 version and you'll be sent to .................guess where?

Still bad?
