Inprofile
Tried the above as a replacement for one i used to use years ago. Not much call for joiners nowadays as far as i'm aware. D/l'd it, as usual used custom install, unchecked the rubbish i didn't want. Then i'm informed that there is an update to the prog. I was busy with other things so i let it update thinking that i'd have to go throught the whole installing rigmarole again. Not so. I was infected and all browsers were hijacked. After cleaning my machine i found an extra prog GoUp where the prog was installed, I removed it and the joiner now works without prompting me to d/l the new update Thing is.....i used to trust CNET.
