Zeus trojan virus

for the last two weeks I have been getting unwanted popups predictably when I try to open almost any webpage and they are persistent and hard to get rid of. It happens with google chrome or with ie. I have run PC pitstop repetitively but it isn't helping. Now I have a message I can't fet rid of that says my computer is infected with Zeus TRojan Virus error code win32.xepcj. CallSystemAdministrator at 1-855-763-0456. I did call and spoke to an indian woman who said she would help but did not actually provide a name or what her associatin with microsoft, etc, was. I gave her my name and phone number but when she wanted to share my computer I refused and hung up. What is this and how do I fix it?

That's a Phishing scheme or just a scam it sounds like to me. When you say that you've run PCPitstop several times and it doesn't help are you speaking of PCMatic? You definitely have been infected with something or been hacked. I'd start with Malwarebytes, download it here > http://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbam/

Run it like this:

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

That's no good, just copy and paste the log from Notepad..."Edit > Select All > Copy then paste it in another post.
