What's a "secure" website?

Oh, yeah......... remember when the President's helicopter blueprints (Marine One) were discovered floating around on file sharing programs and discovered in Iran back in '09?

Boback said someone from the company most likely downloaded a file-sharing program, typically used to exchange music, not realizing the potential problems.

"When downloading one of these file-sharing programs, you are effectively allowing others around the world to access your hard drive," Boback said.

Hacks & Haxors are one thing, allowing your employees, especially those who work with classified documents, to freely do as they please with your work computers is another entirely.

If I were to guess, the data released from the credit-report sites was an inside job, sold for big bucks. Now the question is, who had such access and why weren't better restrictions in place? :nospys:

inactuallity your wrong how ever not completly for fmore deatail got to gibson reasearch and a podcast call security now idealy every time you and your computer talk to a website security measure re in place certificates how ever although there computers there dumb so humans have to be involved as such humans are lazy and make mistakes so at times the certificates are invalid and thebasic security measure like encrytption are not as good as they should when it comes to security you can make a harden building but once you install a door and windows now you have vunrabiltiys when you log onto a website and they ask you make a password and let you make a password of only two letters how long would it take to break the password and when you make the password longer but allow a name as a password allthough that would take slightly longer but a name has patterns to it were as a ramdom password made of letters and numbers has no pattern when some one use 123456 as a password or password
