WTT Log.dll

Recommended Posts

When I do a scan of my desktop I get the following dialogue box: "C;\JProgram Files(x86)(PCPitstop\PCMatic\Wtt Log.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error." I can close the dialogue box out (takes 3 times to x out) and the scan seems to complete OK and I can "Fix all" with no problems. This just started showing up. Am I to be concerned about it and how should I go about correctiing it? Thank you for your help in advance.

Make sure that you are both installing and running PC Matic from an administrator account. You can right-click on the icon(s) and select 'Run as' and assign an administrator account.

If that does not resolve the issue, run the Active X control removal tool from the link below:

http://files.pcpitst.../Remove-All.cmd

If you are using Vista or Windows 7, first save the file above to your desktop, then right-click on the file and select, "Run as administrator".

Once the removal tool completes:

1) uninstall PC Matic from the control panel add/remove programs

2) check the installed programs list for an entry called Exterminate3 (this entry does not say PC Pitstop in front of it so it'll appear in the list with the rest of the E's), remove the entry if it's there

3) manually go to c:program filespcpitstop and manually delete the PC Matic and Exterminate3 folders to make sure that all parts are removed (if there is no Exterminate3 folder it is OK to proceed)

4) reinstall PC Matic from this link: http://www.pcpitstop...cmatic&aff=0002

5) open PC Matic and do another scan and let us know if the issue is not resolved
