lizardo_manson
Does it annoy you when you open your secondary web browser or some other program and it suggests that you change your default search provider? If you wanted to change it, you'd probably have already changed it. Well, you can prevent programs from doing that by changing a setting in IE9. Here's how: In IE9, right-click on an empty spot on the address bar and select to show the Command bar or Menu bar, or just press ALT to display the menu bar temporarily Now click Tools on either of those toolbars Click Manage Add-ons In the left pane, click Search Providers At the bottom, check the box that says Prevent programs from suggesting changes to my default search provider Click Close Thanks to WinNews
