Ubuntu 11.04 and ipod touch

i got a used ipod touch 2nd gen. and had been banging my head trying to get music on it. i found on another forum that if you download oplayer to your ipod ,then plug it into your Ubuntu machine with at least 11.04 on it ,you will get a documents folder . open it in nautilus then copy your music and you should be able to listen to it. i tried this and it works great.
