LA8490 Posted March 25, 2012 Share Posted March 25, 2012 If you Google for Windows 8 Consumer Preview watermark removal, you'll find plenty of sites that tell you how to do it by downloading a patch file, renaming the shell32.dll.mui file and replacing it blah, blah, blah. I ran across this one that takes less than 2 minutes and it works perfectly on x64. http://www.my7apps.f...hp?do=file&id=7 Once downloaded and opened, click the box @ "Remove All Watermark" Then click "Apply New Settings" Then just reboot and change the desktop background.
