:pullhair: Just got this Microsoft.NET Unhandled exception message. Have never seen one of these before:

See the end of this message for details on invoking

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Just go the following unhandled Microsoft.NET framework exception Unhandled exception message:

If you are using Windows XP please check that all updates are installed by visiting Windows Updates. If this does not correct the problem please install .NET 2.0 or use msconfig to remove the startup "PCPitstopInfoCenter".

You can get .Net 2.0 here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en

To access msconfig go to Start/Run and type msconfig and hit the Enter key, then click on the StartUp tab and uncheck the PCPitstopInfoCenter. This will remove it until such time as you are able to configure your updates.

I checked with one of the developers and he stated that from the description, something else has ahold of the logfile and InfoCenter can't open it for writing. I'm not sure what other program would be interferring with the file, but Sysinternals has a tool called process explorer would be helpful for discovering what other process is interferring:
