Good to see you guys still active!

I must have the slowest memory in the world!

12 gigs corsair cmp12gx3m3a1600c9, it will not go above 1600.

Got my I7 970 pushed to 4.18 no probs.

I've been busy and haven't gotten a chance to fool with this for a while.

I'll try upping the QPI/DRAM core voltage and retest, maybe this week end.

It's a locked processor, so I lowered the CPU ratio and Raised the BLCK.

 

Would adding the extra sticks help?

IMHO, no. You should be optimized for "triple channel" with the setup you have now. I have the same mobo and it runs out great with 3 sticks. ;)

Running 6Gb Kingston HyperX, and an i7 930 @ 4.00Ghz about all it does between O/C contests is run Folding@Home. If we could build up our OverClocker membership again we could have some more contests here maybe...
