Win32 Virus Or Not Win 32 Virus

Recommended Posts

Hello Socom2

Thank you for the scan data and logs.

All of those scanned files appear to be malware free.

It would also appear that you have a number of cracked files on your machine which were obtained through a torrent site. This forum does not support or condone the use of cracked (illegal) files or software of any kind.

If you wish to receive continued assistance at this forum you must remove this material immediately:

  • Please download OTM

  • Please download OTM by OldTimer by clicking here.
  • Save the file (called OTM.exe) to your desktop.
  • Double click on the OTM.exe icon to run the program. (Note: If you are running on Vista/Windows 7, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
  • Copy the lines in the codebox below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy):

c:\documents and settings\owner\desktop\usb tranzfer\crack
c:\documents and settings\owner\desktop\usb tranzfer\vso convertxtodvd v4.0.3.311 + crack (clean) [h33t] - cazor
c:\program files\sony\sound forge pro 10.0\crack.txt
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Tarma Installer\{889DF117-14D1-44EE-9F31-C5FB5D47F68B}\_Setupx.dll
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\YontooIEClient.dll
C:\Program Files\Yontoo Layers Runtime\YontooIEClient.dll

[Start Explorer]

  • Return to OTM, right click in the "Paste Instructions for Items to be Moved" window (under the yellow bar) and choose Paste.

  • Click the Moveit! button.
  • Copy everything in the Results window (under the green bar) to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy), and paste it in your next reply.
  • Close OTM.
  • Note: If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes. In this case, after the reboot, open Notepad (Start->All Programs->Accessories->Notepad), click File -> Open, in the File Name box enter *.log and press the Enter key, navigate to the C:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles folder, and open the newest .log file present, and copy/paste the contents of that document back here in your next post.

Please post the OTM log and a new DDS scan log in your next reply.
