Bo:heap Mcafee Virus Removal - Please Help

Hello,

My laptop came down with the BO:Heap virus. McAfee shows a pop-up every few minutes that a buffer overload has been blocked. IE crashed & doesn't open at all. Random pages kept opening on firefox. The system shut itself down after sometime. Upon restarting the laptop & running a virus scan again, I still keep getting the same buffer overload pop-up from McAfee.

I basically need to have the malware removed. I read other related posts where the same problem has been solved, but couldn't follow it beyond a certain point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Trex

Download (free) Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware.shtml

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.

* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. Copy and Paste that log into your next reply.
