You will then receive the 'Safe To Remove' message.Not really any easier, you still have to open the My Computer first, probably quicker to use the Safe Remove icon in the task bar, but it is certainly an alternate way to do it, and it works in all versions of windows (xp, Vista & Win 7), not just windows 7 so you know.
