Main computer is not connecting,however second one is.When I try repair network option it tells me repair failed:unable to renew IP Address. How do I go about doing this. Running XP btw. Salo35 Posted August 15, 2003 Share Posted August 15, 2003 I have a linksys router as well, mine is a 4 port router; and I had the same problems as you. Unfortunately I had the 1 port of the 4 that did not work properly. Try switching ports, assuming you have more than 2 ports on your router. If it works after you switch ports, plz let me know, I'd love to talk to linksys about the problems I've been having, and now you are having. Good luck, msg me if you need more information.
