For the benefit of others, the internet speed test is usually inaccurate if you are running Kaspersky Antivirus (normally configured). It is not the test which is faulty, it is having Kaspersky's Web checking AV turned on. As you may have seen, the initial effect is to throttle the upload speed reading below its actual level, then to finish with an unbelievable burst to high level. If you want to see a clean internet speed test, you should temporarily disable Kaspersky or its web-checking component. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
