nightwing2007
you know this has to be the most stuck up forum on the internet to get help what are you guys worried some one will beat your score. this pcpitstop is not even a real benchmark. i would smoke half of you guys in a real benchmark. and you guy that get 20 to 30000 chet any way . is it that hard to help some one Edited October 1, 2010 by nightwing2007
terry1966
nice way to get help.. and there's no way your p4 gets over 19000 points.. as for your score there's nothing wrong with it, in fact it's a good score.. my i7 920, 6gb 1600 memory, gtx275, 64gb ssd with 4tb's of storage gets about 12000 if i remember correctly. if you want to get 20000/30000 points, over clock your cpu to 5ghz or more add multi ssd drives and run them in raid 0 and add another gpu maybe.. great system you have by the way.. terry1966
yes please i'd like to such a p4 score, i'd guess you've made a mistake and what it actually scored was 1900.. there used to be some little tricks like doing the tests with low bit colour i think, but i never used them so don't really know them and like you said it's not really a benchmark it's more a diagnostic test. lots of nice people here it's just they don't always have the time to look in every part of the forum so usually just look in the ones they can help most in or are most interested in, so can take a long time before some posts are noticed and responded to. RAH
Terry is correct. That is a fine score. But to join the big boys, you'll have to OC at around 5 Ghz. The disk score will come up with some raided SSD's. You can get the 2D, with a lower resolution (800x600) and 16 bit color. You internet is blah. Other wise, a very nice machine. Lot more then mine. Ya, your right terry, no way does a P4 get 19000 points in the Pit test! Unless it was in LN2???
