Two ways to resize desktop icons

Windows 7 lets you change desktop icons size the usual way:

 

1. Right click on an free area of the desktop

2. Select View on the context menu

3. Select Small Icons (if you want them smaller than the default size)

 

And also in a way akin to zoom control in Web browsers:

 

1. Hold the Ctrl key

2. Scroll the mouse wheel

 

This latter way you can resize beyond the three preset options on the context menu.
