Possible to get laptop over 10k?

Almost there with work one, but also seems like nowhere close at the same time. Nothing really I can upgrade without changing the primary function of the machine and keeping it pure for work. Just wondering if anyone here has hit that number or crushed it with laptop components.

 

Also how do the laptop scores compare with a desktop? I mean on a 1 to 1 scale; will a laptop with a score of xxxx perform as well as a desktop with the same score? or are they weighted based on similar computers and not necessarily performance. My goal was to get a high end laptop that compares to a mid-range desktop, it looks like this ones score is similar to some decent desktops but it may be an apples to oranges thing.

Thats my other, not nearly as nice but cost about 10% and not asked to do nearly as much.
