morbidbutterfly
TotalFinder lets you add tabs, deals with the dreaded .DS_Store files in a way that makes sense, adds a dual-panel mode, makes Finder available system-wide on a hot-key and shows you hidden files if you want. It's free but may not be for long. It requires OS X 10.6 to run. http://totalfinder.binaryage.com/
