If you ever make it this side of the pond, I'll personally take you to the shooting range, both indoors and out, to shoot a wide variety of guns. You just lemme know when/if you're headed this way. ;)

if i ever win the lottery i'll take you up on that.

I hate to admit it but in my dumber days being single and w/out kiddos, I've done my share of drunk shootin. I realize the irresponsibility of my ways now.

How well did the magazine loader work? I think it's pretty nice that it came with one - I had to buy mine over the net. It works pretty well but it's not designed for my specific model handgun, so you have to fiddle with it a little.

Having a loaded mag makes it feel well balanced in the hand.

Here's a sweet lil piece a friend of mine picked up this weekend for a meager $175. It's a German Police trade in Sig model P6 in 9mm.

Everything I have read says they are about as accurate and as smooth as a Bull in a China shop.

But just as tough as one, and oh so fun to let loose in that shop :rofl3:

Well I have spent a bit of time firing M16's, ain't nothin special.

You want to fire something fun, get your hands on a 45 caliber submachine gun (M3A1)

Useless for anything other then very close range, but about the most fun I ever had with a weapon.

Never had an Ak-47 but I did have a couple of SKS's, both of which were nail drivers @ 100 yds.......;) (with the right ammo, definitely not the Russian :filtered:)

Never had the pleasure of an SKS.

When I was a teenager back in the mid 70's I did have the pleasure of firing a WW2 German Karabiner 98k.

We always called it a Mauser, so it took me a few google searches to find it.

It was a very serious weapon, of course at the time we were playing with it, it wasn't all that old. (30 years or so)

Probably still a lot of them kicking around.
