File Extensions?!?

The most common reason is that there is a program (or programs) the recreates them each time it runs, whether it uses the extensions or not.

This area of the registry is essentially a cache, so it is normal for new entries to appear there over time. As long as it isn't causing any problems, we recommend allowing Optimize delete these entries each time it runs.

Ahhh, so that's why. It would be nice if Pitstop could tell me what programs are doing this for curiousitys sake. I've been wondering about this forever...I have about 116 out there and I bet they're from my Adobe apps.
