morbidbutterfly
When using Windows Live Messenger in Windows 7, minimizing it puts a large icon to the bottom left instead of putting a small icon on your taskbar. To change that: Right click on Windows Live Messenger and left click Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab and check the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box. Choose any of the Windows Vista choices on the list and click Apply and then OK. Now when minimized, the familiar little icon will show up on your taskbar.
