Microsoft .NET Framework

Recommended Posts

Add/Remove is showing versions 1.1 and 1.1 Hotfix, (size unknown), 2.0 (89.33MB), 3.0 (57.82MB)

What does it do, do I need it and is anything else dependent on it?.

Thank you........

"Dont do what I think your gonna do."

Too late for me, I thought I should remove Net Framework 1.1 & 2.0, then install 3.0 That is totally wrong.

In add/remove programs 1.1 & 2.0 are listed but the size is blank. Now they will not install, nor will 3.0

I have not noticed any problems, but I don't do all of the things others do.

I just got Net Framework 1.1 & 2.0 but not 3.0

3.0 created a problem with my printer

so i just uninstalled it

And yes some drivers depend on them

Don't know why M$ has included this in the High Priority updates, I have 1.1 & 2.0, don't want anything beyond that, don't need a 248.4mb service pack for a M$ application I may never make use of anyway... -kd5-
