Bruce
I didn't say it was better... I'm still testing it and so far I like it. Everything that I use works quite well for me and I'm not about to tell you all of my apps Ssssssssshh, it's a secret
KRAM
I don't think Windows 7 has that option. I know Vista does. Yes you are correct for this on the Beta, I pointed that out in my first post. Silly me Not sure if it will be left out on the Final Release version. I should have thought about that, but I'm just used to telling people the other way as to make sure they get elevated Administrator mode.

Jacee
According to this article: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/e...a71033.mspx#EFB (click on 'show all') You cannot reformat a disk or partition that is currently in use, including the partition that contains Windows. This is a safety feature so that you cannot delete Windows by accident

Bruce
Very nice. I can't remember in all my years of building computers (first one in 1984) of being as happy with a computer as I am with this laptop.
Maxst2
The fun really begins once I get my second drive this weekend... lil raid0 action for the laptop. I love the blue lights on the lid... i could do without the one around the touch pad though. My old laptop was well used...so I had that layout memorized... being a completely different keyboard(full size with 10key) typing is a pain! I might put up windows 7 on it... but not too sure yet... maybe in a VM box. It's got the power to do it.

Jacee
I've had two. Both times with SuperAntiSpyware .... once trying to open the program and the second one when trying to uninstall the program! It's a no go for me, even in safe mode Gotta get this one figured out! KRAM
Check if superantispyware is running any services and stop them before you try to uninstall it.

PORTHOS
I've had two. Both times with SuperAntiSpyware .... once trying to open the program and the second one when trying to uninstall the program! It's a no go for me, even in safe mode Gotta get this one figured out! Are you running 64 or 32bit?
Jacee
32bit, and I did manage to uninstall. I'm going to re-install SuperAntispyware Pro and see where I sit now. Hate to pay for a program that may cause trouble in future releases!
leprechanmonkie
ive had a few hard locks on this 64 bit install. its something to do with Azurues and WMC though, when those two are running at the same time, crazy things can happen. Is anyone else using kasperskys free windows 7 AV, works pretty good!
Jacee
I'm using Avira Premium Security Suite.
terry1966
has anyone gotten any bsod's yet ? yes 2 1 everytime i try to open the folding gpu display and the other after a 2nd install of windows 7 and avg8. i can't get avg8 to run this time for some reason so when i tried to uninstall it i got the bsod. but must admit it seems to work great usually and i do like it so will definetly be something i'll run in vm with linux might even buy a copy instead of using this beta.
