Guest StuartV
We seem to be having a lot of problems with our connection today. Ping times seem very low, but upload and download seem reasonable. Connecting to a number of sites seems to be problematical as well (particularly UUNet). Is there some form of virus/trojan attack affecting the net today, or is it just our ISP? Has anybody else noticed this?
aeroman10
There is no attacks as far as I know. What type of connection do you have? Also, try calling your ISP to make sure that its not a network or line problem.
Guest IrOnPiG
If its a DSL or cable connection try turning off the modem for 30 seconds and turning it back on again. Those modems all have error correction built into them and if the buffers get clogged up you will experience funky connections. Powercycling the modem will clear all the buffers.
