The Gskill memory I bought 4gigs of ram and I was wondering with the powersupply I got to go with the vid card it states on the specs that it needs a 12v with a rating of 26A,, I'm hoping this power supply will work with it being that I searched high and low for that at newegg and could not find a power supply fitting that description.

I personally have used G.Skill DDR2 and had absolutely no issues with it. In my opinion it is great stuff.

I think the PSU may possibly be trouble as there are two 12V rails, but each is only good for 19 amps. I would suggest that a better way to go is a PSU with a single 12V rail of at least 45 amps. It will be more expensive, but could save a lot of headache in the end.

The vid card should be plenty powerful for just about anything.

thats two 3870's in crossfire on 1 board. Two is always better than one =)

I like Asus's design on that one cause the memory runs hot on that card so that pretty LEET :P

or

thats the same stock cooler as the 4870 x2 and i can keep mine at 38c idle when i crank it up to 50%

Or a

4850

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814102775 that has 800 Stream Processing Units where as yours only has yours only has 128

its even cheaper than yours. ATI is undercutting nvidia bad

You need to look at the specs page on that video card it clearly states at least 26 amps(not 19a) for the card

System Requirements Two 6-pin supplementary power connector A minimum 500W or greater system power supply (with 12V current rating of 26A)

I would be vary weary of that particular PSU as stated before it doesn't look like you will have enough juice for it to operate properly.

The ampherages add up tubby, so theoretically, it's 38a on the 12v rail(s). ;)

Edit: The 4850 would have been a better buy than the 9800GTX+.

Edit2: The 9800GTX may only have 128 stream processors, but they are more powerful than the ones found in the 4850/4870.
