Xbox wireless game conroller for windows?

Recommended Posts

OK,i am @ a loss?I just purchased Tiger Woods 2008 and a wireless xbox 360 game controller for Windows. When i push the center button on the controller the battery Status comes up and says it is full, but when i go into the game i cant move the cursor, none of the buttons do anything, etc.?The Tiger Woods game says supported gamepads "Microsoft Xbox 360 controller for windows"along with 2 logitech gamepads.Mine is the wireless edition but i wouldn't think that matters. What gives and this is my first controller i have owned and not sure if maybe i am doing something wrong, compatibility issue or failed controller? Thanks in advance.

you can use a weird xbox 360 controller straight out of the box on the PC as it is USB, to use the wireless pads however you will neeed the xbox 360 crossfire adapter.

This simply plugs in to a usb port on your pc and will allow you to use a wireless xbox 360 controller on your PC (or any wireless 360 peripheral for that matter inc steering wheel). I know this as i have just bought one myself HERE is a link to what you need.

It never crossed your mind as to how your PC would receive the signal from a controller made for a game console?
