Intel core 2 duo E6300 overclocked @ 2.6ghz (thermaltake bigtyp 120 cooler)

OCZ 2gb DDR2 Platinum revision 2 dual channel kit (800mhz 4 - 4 - 4 - 15)

Asus P5N-E Sli ready Motherboard

Nvidia 9600GT 512mb graphics card

Corsair TX650watt power supply

250gb sata hard drive

DVD-RW

Not bad at all, but I know the e6300 can go higher than that. Mine is running at 2.8Ghz stock voltage.

And I thought I had a bad chip for overclocking. :lol:

 

Well, if 2.6 is the highest you can attain without voltage increases, I'd stick with that.

is it possible to get a higher score? I remember back in the days I used to do something to the display settings or tweak something to get a higher score - cant remember what to though.

so theres no way of getting past 2.6, ive also tried setting memory to linked 1:1 and it doesnt even boot. I think ive tried pretty much everything.

memory voltage - 2.1v (tried increasing)

cpu voltage - 1.325 (tried increasing)

Northbridge voltage - (cant remember but i tried increasing also)

memory @ 800mhz unlinked (tried linked 1:1 - wont boot)

memory timings - 4 4 4 15

 

P.S I have managed to get into windows but ran orthos and has detected stability errors.
