Open Office - Presentation

kino - video capture and editing software

Recorded with qtrecordmydesktop

Converted from ogv format to flv via command line interface using ffmpeg

This is a 57 meg flash video, it may take a couple minutes to buffer and play, be patient.

Slick Bruce! I'm sitting here watching your video in ie 6.0 on windows 2000, and I don't remember loading any codecs or anything. The vid just plays.

It's an flv file, the same format that Youtube and other sites use.

If you have flash installed then it will work in any OS

I discovered a nice little application for Linux computers called PerlBox Voice http://perlbox.org/

Much to my surprise, it works extremely well.

I made a small video of it in action, it worked great and recognized every voice command I gave it the first time, except the command message, i had to say that twice, but other then that it is fast and does indeed work.

I opened openoffice, k3b, firefox, amsn, my home directory, kino, kwrite, smplayer, Konsole, and finally speak a command and get a voice response.

You can see the brief video I made at
