Guest MRRAWARING
I know aol is famed for shutting down at bad times, but since using broadband, aol v7.0 shuts down nearly every time I close a window. Is there any way of stopping this? Also when it shuts down and I try to sign in again I get a message saying the port is already open but won`t let me log inuntil I log off and start again, What does that mean? ( AMD 1.4, 256megRAM,40mb hard disk, windows ME) any help appreciated, Richard
Ax Slinger
We have a few AOL users here, but I believe a majority of people who frequent this forum will tell you AOL is simply not worth the hassle, and advise you to get a better ISP. And as a former employee of AOL, who resigned due to how the company treats their customers, I would have to agree. Getting rid of AOL will most likely solve your problem. JBM
I use v. 8.0 and it seems more stable, but still the same slow AOL.
