PC Test won't initialize

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

I have tried (many a time) to scan my PC through your website. However, it simply keeps looping me around.

Here is the sequence.

1. I get to the first page, the one with the little key, etc. http://pcpitstop.com/pcpitstop/default.asp

I log on with my email and password as a registered member OR as a new member.

I click on the key and it brings me back to the above page.

2. I click on the key icon and it takes me to

http://pcpitstop.com/pcpitstop/pcpitstop.asp

3. I get a popup that says - The PC utilty is about to gather data from your system. If you are testing your PC on the PCPitstop website, please click OK to continue. If you are not, click cancel.

Nothing happens regardless if I click OK or cancel.

I am having problems with my PC. For starters, I can't use my Yahoo mail on either IE or Mozilla. My PC runs slow, slows down and often seizes up. I have had a number of viruses which I have cleaned with a number of anti-spy programmes.

There are also a large number of temp files in Local Settings that just can't be deleted.

IadHide5.dll

MAR1.tmp

JET65E9.temp

Perflib.Perfdata_6ec.dat

I am also getting SCSI/RAID Host Controller error messages.

If I can't complete a PCPitstop test, I can always send along a Hijack This Report.

Any assistance that you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx,

Mikey53.
